Houses with great storage are a selling-rental positive point, but packed closets make it look like your home doesn't have much room for a potential buyer's things. This also holds true for rental prospects as it is a universal wish list item for eveyone.  When showing a home for a rental property or to sell a home showcase your closets by taking half of your belongings out, then neatly organizing what remains. Be sure you can see to the back of shelves, and clothes organized in a visually appealing manner.
